Installing DPU Expansion Card (Optional)
NCA-6040 supports one PCIe x8 FH/HL slot for DPU card expansion. The DPU card requires a rather
complex installation process; therefore, the assembly must be handled with care. Please read through the
instructions in this section to make sure you have acquired the necessary knowledge and comply with the
requirements.
1. The DPU Expansion Kit will include:
1x DPU Module
1x Riser Card
2x Swappable Fans
Screw packet
2. Power off the system and open the
chassis cover.
3. Unscrew the seven (7) screws of the fan
hood/shroud and PCIe bracket cover, on
the rear panel. Lift up the fan
hood/shroud and PCIe slot bracket cover.
4. Pick up the PCIe bracket, and the Riser
card. Place the Riser card on the side of
the bracket and secure with four (4)
screws.
