Rights administration in cgManager
It is possible to use one of three roles to log
into the Langmatz EK 533 plus with
cgManager: "Administrator", "Advisor" or
"Assembler". The role is automatically
defined by the password that has to be
entered when starting cgManager and is
displayed in the cgManager status bar.

• "Administrator" status is superior to that
of an "Advisor".
• "Advisor" status is superior to that of an
"Assembler".
• Each Langmatz crossguide parameter
can be assigned to whoever is allowed
to change it. Administrators can
generally change any parameter;
advisors and assemblers can only
change those that have been enabled
by a subordinate role.
• An administrator can specify which
parameters advisors and assemblers
can edit.
• An advisor can specify which
parameters assemblers can edit.
• Rights are assigned in cgManager using
the "Access rights" button on the
"Device parameters" form.
• Access rights can then be assigned for
every parameter.
• The screenshot (Fig. 83) shows that:
- The administrator is logged in.
- The vibrator and the activation input
can only be changed by the advisor
(Ad).
Only advisors (Ad) and assemblers (As)
can input the following:
• Release signal activation.
• Release signal duration.
• Vibrator duration.
Only administrators can input the following:
• Speaker parameter changes.
• "Green flashing".
