2.3. Assembly
1. Lift the treadmill base off the pallet and position the base
where the treadmill is to be located:
•
Allow a minimum clearance of 18 inches (46 cm) on
each side of the treadmill.
• Allow a minimum clearance of 6 feet (183 cm) at the
rear of the treadmill.
Note:
Do not remove the wire tie protruding from Upright Center
Hole on upright. You will need this to guide the upper wire
harness down through the upright in step 11.
2. Use a 3/8” socket to remove three bolts from each side of
the upright bracket on the frame. Slide the upright down
over both brackets (Figure 2-3). Secure each side using
three bolts per side starting with the inside bolts first, then
the outside bolt. Tighten all securely. One side is shown in
detail.

WARNING
Failure to leave ample clearance at the rear of the
treadmill could result in the user becoming trapped
between the treadmill and the wall should the user
accidentally trip and fall while exercising.
