RTR Lower Clevis Assemblies
Refer to Figure 1-4:
1. Attach clevis (#2) to the front square tube on the tiller
with 1/2
"
u-bolt (#5) and 1/2
"
hex lock nuts (#3).
2. Draw lock nuts (#3) up snug.
Do Not Tighten
lock
nuts at this time.
3. Insert lower hitch pin (#1) in clevis (#2) as shown and
secure with linchpin (#4).
4. Repeat steps 1 thru 3 for clevis (#6).
5. Continue with
at the bottom of the page.
RTA Lower Clevis Assemblies
Refer to Figure 1-5:
1. Make certain clevis (#2) is positioned with hitch pin
holes at the top and chamfer edges below hitch pin
holes. Attach clevis (#2) to the front square tube on
the tiller with 1/2
"
u-bolt (#5) and 1/2
"
lock nuts (#3).
2. Draw lock nuts (#3) up snug.
Do Not Tighten
lock
nuts at this time.
3. Insert lower hitch pin (#1) in clevis (#2) as shown and
secure with linchpin (#4).
4. Repeat steps 1 thru 3 above for clevis (#6).

Center Positioning of Lower Clevises
Refer to Figure 1-6:
Below are instructions for centering the tiller on the
tractor. If tiller is to be offset, refer to adjustment
1. Position clevises (#1) 26 7/8

apart from inside of
clevis plate to inside of clevis plate and centered off
the gearbox input shaft 13 7/16
"
as shown.
2. Tighten u-bolt locknuts (#2) to the correct torque.
