8. CHARGING THE BATTERY
The battery is the most important part of the scooter. Electric scooters are equipped with lithium-ion
cells. These batteries are able to provide better functionality and a longer lifespan than lead batteries.
They are lightweight and powerful. However, these batteries do also have a life cycle. To maximize
their lifespan, it is important to regularly take care of the batteries and charge the battery to 100%
every few days or after each ride.

To charge the battery, only use the original charger from the manufacturer that comes supplied
with the scooter.

If the battery indicator shows low battery, plug the scooter into the charger.

Always make sure that the charging port is clean and dry before charging. If the scooter is not
connected to the charger, the power input must always be covered with the rubber cap to
prevent dust or other dirt from entering the inlet.
