Before getting started
Please ensure you have:
1) Functional MicroSIM card.
2) Voice and data transmission via GSM and GPRS enabled.
Note: requires an internet connection – normal monthly con-
sumption is around 50MB.
3) LAMAX WatchY App installed on your smartphone. This app is
available for free on Google Play and the App store.

Getting Started
1) Insert SIM card into the device and turn on by pressing the On/
SOS button. See the picture below for correct card insertion.

2) Check if the watch has a signal.
3) Signal strength is shown on the status icon on the upper part of
the display. This verifies that the SIM card is inserted correctly.
4) Now start the
LAMAX WatchY App
on your smartphone and
follow the registration instructions on the app.
Adding a new WatchY watch to the app:
1) Go to the application menu.
2) Select “add new device”.
3) Enter the code (ID) to mobile.
Introduction to the LAMAX WatchY App:
1) Locate watch
- Press the icon
to see the current location of the watch.
- “History” shows the movement of the watch within the last 30
days.
- “Zones” allows you to create movement zones.

Vor Inbetriebnahme
Vergewissern Sie sich bitte, dass Sie folgendes zur Hand haben:
1) Vorbereitete MicroSIM-Karte.
2) Erlaubte Stimmen- und Datenúbertragung durch GSM und
GPRS.
Bemerkung: Internetverbindung benötigt – monatlicher Daten-
verbrauch bei üblichem Gebrauch ist ca. 50MB.
3) Installierte Apllikation LAMAX WatchY App im Mobiltelefon.
Diese Applikation kann kostenlos auf Google play und App
store erworben werden.

Erstes Einschalten
1) Legen Sie die SIM-Karte ins Gerät ein und schalten Sie es mit
der Taste Einschalten/SOS ein. Das richtige Einlegen der SIM
-Karte ist auf dem Bild dargestellt.

2) Kontrollieren Sie bitte, ob die Uhr ein Signal hat.
3) Die Signalstärke wird mithilfe der Zustandsanzeige im oberen
Teil des Displays dargestellt. Damit überprüfen Sie, dass die
SIM-Karte richtig eingelegt ist.
4) Nun schalten Sie die Applikation
LAMAX WatchY App
auf
Ihrem Mobiltelefon ein und registrieren sich laut Anweisungen
in der Applikation.
Hinzufügen einer neuen WatchY-Uhr in die Applikation:
1) Gehen Sie in das Menü der Applikation.
2) Wählen Sie die Möglichkeit „neues Gerät hinzufügen“.
3) Geben Sie den Code (ID).
Note: When the watch enters / leaves this zone you will be imme-
diately alerted by the app. There can be up to 6 active zones at
once.
2) Communicating with the watch
- Icon enables you to send text and voice messages or make a
conventional call.
Note: maximum a voice message can be sent of 15 seconds and
text of 20 characters.
3) Physical activity
- Icon
provides info about your physical activity. See total dis-
tance covered and calories burnt on a given daily in a weekly
chart.
4) Settings
- App offers a variety of personal settings which can be found
under the symbol
in the right corner.
5) Information about the watch
- Icon in the upper left corner, offers an options menu: add addi-
tional WatchY watches, logout of account and search for avai-
lable updates.
Note: WatchY watch is fully compatible with any smartphone run-
ning Android (4.1.1 and above) and iOS (7.0 and above) which has
the LAMAX WatchY App installed.
WatchY watch functions:
1)
SOS button
– Press and hold for approximately 5 seconds. The
watch automatically calls the emergency numbers one by one.
2)
Contact list
– WatchY watch can store up to 10 contacts which
can be called directly from the watch.
Note: These numbers should be entered in the LAMAX WatchY
App.
3)
Voice Messages
– Enables you to send voice messages, read
text messages and record your own voice message.
4)
Add friend
– Watch can be paired with another watch, enab-
ling you to send each other voice messages.
5)
Pedometer
– Indicates the number of steps taken and calories
burnt per day.
6)
Motion sensors
– Built-in sensors inform you when the watch
has been taken off the wrist.

Warning:
1) Do not expose watch to moisture, water, rain, snow or other
sprays.
2) Do not expose watch to direct sunlight and high temperatures.
Intense light or high temperatures can cause damage.
3) Not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
4) Only use standard charging cables otherwise it could damage
the device.
5) Charge device under constant supervision. For safety reasons
disconnect the watch when fully charged.
6) If the watch power supply begins to show any signs of da-
mage disconnect it. Do not use unless it has been checked by
a specialist.
7) Be careful not to drop, impact, puncture or cause other da-
mage to the watch. Do not use the watch if damaged. Never
attempt to repair it yourself.
8) Do not put foreign objects into the USB connector or SIM card
slot.
9) Use only as directed. Improper use could result in injury or
malfunction.
10) Before first use, it is best if the battery is fully charged.
11) In case of the battery overheating when being charged,
unplug it immediately.
