Running the Wires
The following illustrations show how to run wires for a small cassette player. If you plan on using a larger
cassette player, CD player, or phonograph, the equipment can be placed on top of the table.
Note:
The removable lid can also be used to cover any equipment when the table is being used as a regu-
lar work area. This will prevent children from accidentally changing the volume controls or detaching
headphone plugs.
1. Place the cassette player inside the table
and run the power cord through the hole,
as shown at left.
2. Plug the junction box into the cassette player.
3. Run the headphone plug(s) through the side holes
as shown, then plug them into the junction box.

Space-Saver Listening Center Table
This space-saving listening center table fits perfectly in any classroom—just tuck it into any corner! The
listening center accommodates two headsets, a junction box, and a cassette player. Its innovative design

Before You Begin
Before attaching the legs, make sure you have all the appropriate parts, hardware, and tools.
• Tabletop • Removable lid • 4 adjustable legs • 16 Phillips-head bolts
Note:
You will need a Phillips screwdriver to attach the legs.
Attaching the Legs
Turn the tabletop upside down. Attach each leg to
a corner of the tabletop using four Phillips-head
bolts, as shown at right.
Adjusting the Legs
Each leg comes with four joint connector nuts and four joint connector bolts. The legs are currently set at a
height of 18". If this is the height you want, tighten the joint connector nuts and bolts using the Allen
wrenches to lock them into place. The legs can also be set to other heights up to 26".
