6.1.1 In case of malfunction
Ecovip series
In case of malfunction, with the step blocked in open
position, proceed as follows to manually move the step
to its closing position, then contact one of Laika autho-
rised workshops.
1) Insert a screwdriver or other suitable tool inside of
the hole (a) located under the step and push until the
step unlocks.
2) Manually push the step to its closure position.
Kreos 5009, 5010, 7009, 7012
In case of malfunction, with the step blocked in open
position, proceed as follows to manually move the step
to its closing position, then contact one of Laika autho-
rised workshops.
1) In the 12 V distribution control unit, remove the step
fuse (see section relative to the electric system).
2) Manually push the step to its closure position.
Kreos 8002, 8009, 8012
Kosmo Compact 5, Compact 9
In case of malfunction, with the step blocked in open
position, proceed as follows to manually move the step
to its closing position, then contact one of Laika
authorised workshops.
1) On the left side of the step, remove the R-clip (a) and
unhook the arm (b) from the rotating shaft (c), use a
screwdriver or other suitable tool to help lever.
2) Manually push the step to its closure position.
6.1.2 Function automatic opening of the
entrance step (only Kreos A-class)
On the Kreos A-class it’s possible to open the entrance
step by using the remote control integrated in the
chassis key: press the button (e) to open the living
quarter door and disactivate the alarm. After two
seconds press the button (e) again: you will obtain the
opening of the entrance step and the turning on of the
awning light and a indoor light in the living quarter.
When the doors are being closed with the button (d)
also the entrance step will close (if open).
