HOW DO I MANUALLY SET THE TIME?
IMPORTANT: Only press or hold one button at a time.
1.
Hold the SET button to enter settings mode.
2.
Press the + or - button to adjust the flashing values.
3.
Hold the + or - buttons to adjust quickly.
4.
Press the SET button to confirm adjustments and move to the next item.
5.
Press the TIME ADVANCE button at any time to exit.
Settings order:
•
Beep ON/OFF
•
Atomic ON/OFF
•
DST AUTOMATIC/ DST OFF / DST ON
•
Time Zone
•
Hour
•
Minutes
•
Temperature Fahrenheit/Celsius
IMPORTANT: Many of the selections will be indicated by a filled in circle next to a selection. In
the example below Beep ON is active and the circle is filled in. If customer selects Beep OFF
the circle next to OFF will fill in and the Circle next to ON will be empty. The filled in portion
moves as you press the +/- button to fill the selection you have scrolled to.
Note: If Atomic OFF is selected, skip DST and Time Zone selection and move straight to the
Hour.
To begin:
1.
Hold the SET button for 2 seconds to enter settings mode. BEEP ON will show. Press the +
or - button to turn the button beep sound off.
2.
Press SET to confirm and move to the atomic time ON/OFF. ATOMIC ON will show. Press
the + or - button if you do not want Atomic Time signal (OFF).
3.
Press SET to confirm and move to the Daylight Saving Indicator. DST selections will show
and AUTOMATIC will be selected. Press the + or - button to select DST OFF if you do not
observe Daylight Saving Time changes, or to DST ON for all year Daylight Saving Time.
4.
Press SET to confirm and move to the Time Zone selections. EASTERN will be selected.
Press the + or - button to select a different time zone.
5.
Press SET to confirm and move to the hour. The HOUR will flash. Press the + or - button to
choose the hour.
6.
Press SET to confirm and move to the minutes. The MINUTES will flash. Press the + or -
button to choose the minutes.
7.
Press SET to confirm and move to the temperature selection. FAHRENHEIT will be selected.
Press the + or - button if you prefer (Celsius).
8.
Press SET to confirm and exit.
