6. Cleaning
THE COFFEE CIRCUIT
The aim of this operation is to remove all grease and calcareous deposits
that have occurred during the dispensing of the coffee.
If the wash cycle is not performed, this would encourage the solidification
of the deposits with the consequent degeneration of the quality
performances of the coffee circuit.
N.B. The operations described herebelow are performed with the
machine switched on and under pressure.
CAUTION, DANGER OF BURNS: hot water will be issued from the
delivery spout (1) and from the cappuccino system (19) during the
wash cycles. Do not approach these parts with the hands or other
parts of the body until the cleaning cycle has terminated
AUTOMATIC WASH WITH DETERGENT TABLET
To be performed at the end of the working day or when requested by
the machine.
The machine will issue a message on the display Perform wash cycle
together with an acoustic signal. The message will be displayed for
approximately 10 seconds and repeated every 10 minutes.
This will be repeated until the operation is performed.
To perform the wash cycle, follow this procedure:
1) Open the decaffeinated coffee panel (
18
) and insert a tablet.
2) Close the panel (
18
).
3) Keep the coffee circuit wash key (
26
) pressed until the message
Wash cycle in course is displayed.
4) Wait until the machine finishes the automatic wash cycle
(approximately 5 minutes).
N.B. Once the wash cycle is underway, it CANNOT be stopped,
even if the machine is switched off.
If there is a power failure, when power is returned the message
Press WASH will be displayed. To continue, press key (26) to
complete the cleaning cycle.
Programmed wash cycles that are not effected will be memorized by
the machine.
