Setting up from System Menu > System Menu Settings

System Menu Settings

This section explains the functions that can be configured in System Menu. To configure the settings, select the item in
System Menu and select the setting item. For details on each function, see the table below.

Quick Setup Wizard

The Quick Setup Wizard configures Energy Saver, Network and
E-mail settings.

Device Settings

Configure overall machine operation.

Language/System of Units

Set the language to use for the touch panel display, and select
inch or metric for the unit for paper dimensions.

Change the layout of the touch panel keyboard used to enter
characters.

Configures settings related to the date and time.

Energy Saver/Timer

Configure the Energy Saver settings.

Display Settings

Select the brightness of the screen, the wallpaper, and the initial
screen that appears after you turn on the power. You can also
store simple settings for each function.

Set options for buzzer sound during the machine operations.
You can mute the buzzer sound of Status Indicator Light from this
setting.

Original/Scan Settings

Configure settings for originals.

Paper Feeding

Configure the paper and paper source settings.

Paper Output

You can specify different output locations respectively for copying,
printing from a document box, and printing from a computer.

Function Key Assignment

Assign a function to each function key.

Operation Assist

It is possible to configure the settings for the Orientation Selection
screen display and the Preset Limit on the number of copies that
can be made at one time.

Error Handling

Select whether to cancel or continue the job when error has
occurred.

Ink Settings

Configure settings for printing when there is no color ink, low ink
notification, and full waste ink container notification.

Notification/Report

Print reports to check the machine settings, status, and history.
Settings for printing reports can also be configured.

Printing Report/List

Print various reports and lists.

Result Report Setting

Configure settings for notices for sending and receiving.

Device Status Notification

Set the machine status display.

Message Board Settings

Configure settings for message board.

History Settings

Configure settings for printing the history of the machine use.
