Paper Handling > Precautions of Special Paper

Precautions of Special Paper

This section describes printing onto special paper and print media.

Hagaki (Cardstock)

Fan postcards and align the edges before loading. When feeding postcards from a main unit cassette, load with the print
side down. When feeding from the main unit multipurpose tray, or the optional paper feeder or 550-sheet multipurpose
tray, load with the print side up. If a postcard has even a slight amount of curl, do not load it.
Use unfolded Oufuku hagaki (Return postcard) (available at post offices). If the back side has even a slight amount of
burring (a thin ridge caused by cutting the paper) do not load.

To print on index tab divider that has not been registered in Paper Catalog for that paper source, select [
