5. ENGINE STARTING METHODS

(1) TURN THE IGNITION SWITCH “ON”

Unlock the steering handlebar.

y

Turn the ignition switch “on”

 CAUTION:

y

Check the gasoline volume and engine oil level
before starting the engine.

y

Be sure to erect the main stand while starting the
engine.

(2) LOCK THE REAR WHEEL

y

Apply the rear brake lever to connect the power
for starting.

 CAUTION:

y

In order to prevent the motorcycle from rushing
out at high speed, make sure to lock the rear
wheel.

y

If the rear brake lever free play is incorrect, the
rear wheel cannot be braked and it will cause
danger easily.
