After configuration, input number in address 1 and address 2 respectively in

“Modbus Slave” software, and

you can see the numbers in corresponding address in

“Modbus Poll” software.

5.3 Agent-A

Using a KGW3204 Modbus Gateway and a PC in Agent-A mode, the port type is RS-232. The

ethernetEthernet

side works as a Modbus TCP Slave. Connect S1 which works as a Modbus RTU/ASCII

Master to PC by DB9 female cable.

A. Web Configuration

Power on KGW3204 and log in web server of the device, set the operation mode of device to Agent Mode in

“Overview” page.

Next click

“Operating Settings” in navigation bar to set S1 to RTU Master mode, and click “Save” to save the

change.
