SICOM6000 User’s Manual

assembly, electrify the switch and check if the switch work normally and POW, RUN indicators go

on. Insert copper port cables for commission to check if indicators run well (LINK indicators are
ON and ACT indicators blink).

After ensuring the new module work normally, install the switch to the rack.

Re

installation

After the troubleshooting, be careful not to leave sundries in the switch, gently push the module

into the switch in order to avoid damages to the connector in the base board of the switch.

During the installation of switch, take care not to damage the cables. After installation, ensure easy

and smooth sliding in rail. During mounting optical cables, make sure cables do not form right

angles to avoid damage.
