The frequency axis is shown in Y-direction, the temporal course in X-direction. Every vertical line

represents a complete snapshot of the real-time spectrum, measured by the headend. The height
of the individual levels in the spectrum is coded by colors in this chart, i.e. the lower the level, the

more bluish is it shown in this diagram and the higher this level, the more reddish is the relevant

color. In the lower area of the display the color coding is shown for better orientation.

20.4.6

Report

This measurement mode permits an automated sequence of several measurements and their

results are stored on a USB stick in an XML file. The scope of the measurements depends on the
headend used. Details can be taken from the Application-Note "AN006 - Upstream-Monitoring-

System UMS" on

www.kws-electronic.de

under "SUPPORT" -> "Application Notes"

Selection by the function key

REPORT

. This measurement presupposes a plugged-in USB stick on

the field device. After a successful detection of a suitable storage medium the file name for the new

report is requested. The file name can be set at will by means of the number keys and the
