Maintenance and cleaning – figure 4
Unplug the gun and empty the magazine of staples or tacks. Remove the front plate and clean the staple outlet by blowing.
Lubricate the driver and staple outlet with a drop of oil (1) Never clean using solvents or other volatile agents.
Clean the housing with a damp rag. Do not lubricate internal parts of the gun. The gun must be kept dry. Check that the
cable and plug are intact. If in any doubt, contact the Kwb Service Center.

Hold the gun firmly. The safety-catch (1) must be in position A, i.e. its far rear position. Pull back the staple feeder (2)
and turn it up into its loading position (3) Insert the staples/pins into the magazine (4) and return the staple feeder to its
working position (5).
kwb TT 18: Staples are to be placed into the middle slot of the magazine.
kwb TT 26: Pins are to be placed into the right (inner) slot of the magazine.
Repairs
Never dismantle the gun for the purpose of changing or modifying anything. All repairs must be carried out solely by
specially trained personnel. When making enquiries always state product model, voltage, staple type etc.

The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin marked on the electric equipment means that the product at the end of its life cycle must be collected sepa-
rately from other types of waste. Therefore the user will have to deliver the equipment that reached the end of its life cycle to proper separate collection facilities
of electronic and electric waste. Or he must deliver it to the dealer when purchasing a new similar electrical equipment, on one-to-one basis. The proper separate
collection to convey the disued equipment for recycling, treatment and waste in compliance with the environmental directions will help to avoid possible negative
environmental effects and on the human health and will help recycling of the materials of the electrical equipment. Direct and abusive waste of the product from
the user will allow application of the penalties as per D.Lgs. n. 22/1997 (Article 50 and following ones of D.Lgs. n. 22/1997).
