Preparing for operation

50

Side plates

The side plates limit the working width of the power harrow on both 
sides.
They must be adjusted so that a wall of earth is not created at the 
sides of the power harrow.
The position of the extensions depends on the working depth of the 
power harrow.

Prerequisite:

•

The machine is lifted

•

The power harrow's side plates must be moved into the work 
position

•

The tractor PTO is deactivated

Remove the R-pin

Lift the side plate and remove the pin

Move the pin into the work position

Allow the side plate to swing downwards

Secure the pin with the R-pin

Adjust the extensions as follows:

Remove the nuts and bolts of the extensions

 Bring the extensions to a height above ground that corresponds to 
the desired working depth

Re-insert the bolts and tighten the nuts securely

Adjust the setting identically on the other side of the machine
