Adjusting the

lateral discs

The lateral discs channel the flow of earth in the row and control the
width of the strip worked.
For all adjustments, repeat the operation for all rows.

Adjusting the spring tension:

The springs provide safety in difficult working conditions. Stones or
residues can cause blockages between the tooth and the lateral discs.
To prevent this, simply reduce the tension in the springs.

Insert the KV key in screw head (A).

Turn clockwise to increase the tension.

Turn anti-clockwise to reduce the tension.

Adjusting the disc incline:

Adjust the incline to create an earthing up effect prior to the roller
passing.

Slightly loosen (½ a turn) the nut at the end of arm (B) using the KV
key.

Using handle (C) and scale (D), adjust the item to the desired
position.

Re-tighten nut (B) using the KV key.

Adjusting the disc height:

Loosen the two screws (E) which hold the flat (F) which holds the
disc.

Remove the flat.

Set the flat to the desired position.

Replace the fixing screws (E).

The lateral discs act as a deflector. Only set the height to reduce wear
and not so that they act as working discs.

The depth of the discs should be no greater than 3 or 4 cm

(

1

”).

Setting the arm position:

Adjust the disc position according to the flow of earth:

Remove the safety pins from pins (G and H).

Remove pins (G and H).

Set the arm to the desired position.

Replace pin (G) in one of the holes (1, 2 or 3).

Replace pin (H) in the initial hole.

Replace the safety pins.

To set the width of the working strip:

Remove the safety pin from pin (H).

Remove pin (H).

Set the arm to the desired position.

Replace pin (H) in one of the holes (a, b, c or d) depending on
the location of pin G.

Replace the safety pins (H).
