Operator Controls

KVAL DL-2 Series Operation/Service Manual

Motor Controls

Controls Located on each Head.

•

Stop Motor

: Removes power from the cutter motor.

•

Start Machine:

Applies power to the cutter motor.

Head Controls

Controls located on each Head

•

Reciprocation:

Pushing the button in turns reciprocation On. Pulling the button out

turns reciprocation off. When ON, the cutting head router will reciprocate up and
down a distance slightly less then the length of the tools cutting edge. Reciprocation
should increase the life of the tool.

Important:

Leave reciprocation off when using a template. There could be some

chance the drill can hit the template.

•

Cutter Down:

Pulling the button out puts the cutter head tool in the position to cut

the door.

•

Cutter Up

: Pushing the button in moves the cutter up out of the cutting position.

• Locks:

The X and Y lock switches control the X and Y movement of the cutting

head. Switch positions are defined on the next page
