Installation of GPS and Wi-Fi Antennas

HD in-car video system is available with both GPS and Wi-Fi
antennas.
Installing GPS Components (Part # 015-1599-00)
When the GPS option is ordered, most of the GPS components come pre-installed, as they are
located inside the case of the DVR. The exception is the GPS antenna.
1. Determine the mounting location for the GPS antenna. The GPS has a magnet in the
base. Typically, this component will be located inside the A-pillar, near the base of the
windshield, or under the package tray at the rear window of the vehicle.

2. Route the GPS antenna cable to the DVR. The connection will be made when the DVR is
installed.
3. Use zip ties to secure the cable to other cables or to the vehicle body, as necessary to
prevent the cable from getting snagged or otherwise damaged.
