4.4 ESD-hazardous components

NOTE

ESD hazardous components!

Electronic components may be damaged by electrostatic discharges. Please observe
the warnings on the packaging or contact the manufacturer or supplier. To protect
these elements, an ESD-proof work place is advisable (ESD = Electrostatic Discharge).
The rework system can be smoothly integrated in such an environment. Using one of
the buttons on the front, the user can for example connect an ESD strap. The housing
of the rework system is connected to the earth wire of the voltage supply network via
the kettle plug.
When handling the device, it is necessary to observe the common safety measures
that are usually implemented for ESD-hazardous components.
