6.1
Readjustment of the Measuring Device
The DTM 100 temperature measuring device has been set at the factory. Should any
readjustment be necessary please follow the instructions below or send the device to the
manufacturer.
■
Before making any adjustment the device must have taken on room
temperature.
■
For the adjustment of the potentiometer a 2 mm screwdriver is
needed.
■
The capacity of the built-in battery must still be adequate. If <BAT>
appears at the display, renew battery.
■
Pull off the sensor head.
■
Connect the DTM 100 directly to the calibrator or use the included
Calibrating adaptor.
■
Proceed as follows to calibrate adjustment:
•
Set the zero point 0 °C:
Set the calibrator to 0 °C, turn the zero pint
potentiometer

until <000> appears on the
display.
•
Set upper temperature:
Set calibrator to 400 °C and turn the scale
potentiometer
②
so that <400> appears on
the display.

Repeat this calibration adjustment at least twice until both tempera

tures are displayed correctly.
