4.2.20 Precautions to take before using the
terminal
- Place the terminal so that it cannot interfere with
other tractor controls and be activated
inadvertently.
- Before switching the terminal on, check that
nobody is within the machine pivoting area:
switching on the terminal can activate functions on
the machine.
4.2.21 Precautions to take when using the
terminal
- Do not operate the terminal or machine application
while a person is carrying out work on the machine.
- Switch off terminal before carrying out any
maintenance or repair work on the machine.
4.2.22 Burn hazard
The outer surface of some parts can reach high
temperatures and cause burns in case of contact.
- Remain particularly cautious when working next to
hot surfaces.
- Wear protective gloves.
- If possible, let the machine cool down before
proceeding with any adjustment, maintenance or
repair work.
