Disk mower

6.1.4 Primary PTO shaft

Never operate the PTO shaft at an angle X
exceeding 30°.

When tractor lift arms are set to recommended
height and the PTO is coupled, verify that the
dimension between the driveline universal joints (x)
is within the acceptable range listed in the table.

- Dimensions listed also apply to tractors with quick
hitches.

6.1.5 Secondary PTO shaft



Friction slip clutch

The secondary PTO transmission shaft is fitted with
a friction slip clutch.

-

To avoid serious accidents, the PTO drive
shaft guards must be properly in place and
fixed with the chains provided.

Immediately replace any worn or damaged
guard.

Kuhn does not recommend or authorize PTO
adapters.
