RT105M Operator’s Manual

Backhoe - 89

Set Up

5. Ensure ground drive direction control is in neutral. 

6. Move attachment direction/speed control to neutral position.

7. Move ground drive speed hand control to neutral position.

8. Lower rear attachment to 6” (150 mm) above ground.

9. Lower backfill blade.

10. Turn ignition switch to STOP. 

11. Move to backhoe operator’s station.

Prepare Backhoe

1. Disengage seat lock (shown) and rotate 

seat out of stowed position.  

2. Remove swing lock pin from hole (1) and 

store in hole (2). 

3. Raise boom to release tension on stow 

lock.

4. Release stow lock by pushing handle 

forward. For more information about stow 
lock, see page 48.
