Lay the motorcycle on its side and fill the oil filter housing to about

full with
engine oil.
–
Fill oil filter

with engine oil and place it in the oil filter housing.
–
Oil the O-ring of the oil filter cover and mount it with the oil filter cover


–
Mount and tighten the screws.
Guideline
Screw, oil filter cover M5 6 Nm (4.4 lbf ft)
–
Stand the motorcycle upright.

Remove filler plug

with the O-ring on the clutch cover and add engine oil until it
reaches the upper edge of the level viewer.

the engine.

Install and tighten the oil filler plug with the O-ring.

When running the engine, always make sure there is sufficient ventila-
tion, and do not start or run the engine in an enclosed space without an
effective exhaust extraction system.

Start the engine and check that it is oil-tight.
