Possible states

• Ignition off

Ignition switch flipped up. In this position, the ignition circuit is

interrupted, a running engine stops, and a non-running engine will not start.

• Ignition on

Ignition switch flipped down. In this position, the ignition circuit is

closed, and the engine can be started.
