Final steps
- Install the battery.
- Mount the seat.
NOTE:
After mounting, a functional check of the alarm system must be performed
as described in the Owner's Manual.
Attaching the reed switch
- Before bonding the reed switch on the seat, ensure that the adhesive sur-
face is clean and degreased.
- Position and bond the reed switch

- Route the reed switch cable in the cable guide under the seat lock (Figure

Properly route all cables and secure them with cable ties. Ensure that the
cables are neither kinked nor pinched. Check the routed cables to ensure
that there is no chafing.
