WARNING! – Maintenance, assembly, repair and adjustment work as well as
troubleshooting and fault clearance
Effect: Danger to life, injuries or damage to the machine.
The following general rules apply to all maintenance, assembly, repair and adjustment work as
well as for troubleshooting and fault clearance:
• Switch off PTO shaft and engine, remove the ignition key and carry it with you.
• Secure the machine against rolling by using wheel chocks.
• During the operation, maintain an adequate safety distance from all movable parts of the
machine. This applies especially to the collecting mechanism (pick-up) of the crop.
• Before starting assembly work, it is absolutely necessary to move stop cock on the left
lifting cylinder of the tailgate into locking position so that assembly work can be carried out
when the tailgate is open.

To ensure immediate bale starting when the crop is very dry and smooth, the front floor
conveyor chain can be fitted with additional driver guide rails.
Note
Observe running direction of floor conveyor chains!
• Mount driver guide rails (1) on the floor conveyor chain rods pre-drilled for that purpose.
