4.2 CARDCAGE

The backplane and all peripheral boards are secured to the system inside a cardcage. To
access these boards, you need to remove the top cover as follows:

1.  Power off the system and disconnect the power cable.
2.  Unscrew the two captive-panel fasteners located at the back of the system.
3.  Pull back the top cover.
4.  Lift the back of the cover and pull it out.
5.  Refer to the following sections for instructions on how to remove the backplane and

peripheral boards.
