Operator Switches - SW1, SW2, SW3
There are three operator switches available on the EBC2 for interaction with the system. SW2
can be used to invoke a system reset, and SW1 can be used to invoke a system abort. SW1 is
used during the boot operation to cause the E²Brain™ module to abort the boot operation and
allow command line inputs to the bootloader. Refer to the E²Brain™ module manual for further
information.
SW3 is an eight pole DIP switch which is used to select the operational mode of each of the
HSS serial interfaces: SER[1:4]. The following table provides information for configuring these
switches.

M / C Signals
In addition to the above mentioned interfaces, there are monitor and control signals available
for application development and usage. Refer to sections 2.3.1.3, 2.4.4, and the E²Brain™
module product documentation for further information.
