An additional adapter is needed to translate the UART signals provided on the Mini-B USB connector to USB. This adapter must be
connected between an USB port on your computer and the debug interface on the AL i.MX8 board using a standard USB cable.

This adapter is only supplied as standard with our development kits but can also be ordered separately.
