14. Remove one knockout (front) from the lower left
side of the main unit with nippers.
15. Mount the horizontal transport unit to the main
unit. (Two supplied screws A)

1. Turn off the machine and unplug the power cord
from the power outlet.
2. Remove the user’s guide holder from the main
unit.
* When installing this option to C554/C454, the fol-
lowing steps 3 to 8 are performed only if the
optional output tray OT-506 is installed.
3. Open the front door of the main unit.
4. Remove the upper left cover from the main unit.
(Three screws)
5. Remove the output tray from the main unit.
