3.11 Monitor speaker

If you need to monitor the signal of fax communication, turn this mode to on. You can hear the signal sound

with machine’s speaker during fax transaction.

1. Press <Mode>, <*>, <0>, <8>.
2. Select the monitor type from [ON until DIS] or [ON].

3. Select the speaker volume.

To turn this mode off, perform steps 1 and 2 and select [OFF].

This mode offers the ability to print a test pattern and monitor certain unit output functions. Included are fol-

lowings.

This function displays the machine status.
1. Press <Mode>, <*>, <0>, <9>
