6 - WORKING OPERATIONS

Profile blades

moving the blade from one disc to another that has an
opposite direction of rotation.

Flow intensifiers

To ensure that the implement forms a gathered swath
behind the implement, a flow intensifier

(1)

, a so-called

cap, is installed on the end discs to optimise the crop flow
across the cutter bar.

The caps ensure that the crop is transported in the right
way around the disc (towards the middle) and across the
cutter bar.

Drive belts

The implement is equipped with a belt drive with 4 belts
going from the Power Input Connection (PIC) of the im-
plement to the bevel gearbox above the cutting unit.
