Accessing the saved data files
A very useful function of the TV80 system is it ability to record and replay catch
monitoring sensor data. In
File Setup
you can define the destination folders for every
file you can save with the TV80. Information about the data and time of the recording
is automatically added to the file name.
Context
Tip
Set up the folder parameters before you start the recording. If you wish to save your
recorded data on an external hard disk, make sure that it is connected to the computer.
The
Record
function is located on the
Operation
menu. The
Screen Capture
button
is located in the
Top Bar
. To save an instantaneous image of the current frequency
spectrum, select
Screen Captures
in the
Spectrum
dialog box. Select
Export
in the
Load
View
dialog box to save the current view setup.
Procedure
1 Select the
Operation
icon.
The icon is located under the
Main
menu. It is used to open the
Operation
menu.
2 Select
File Setup
.
Observe that the
File Setup
dialog box opens.
3 Select
Open Folder
to quickly access the destination folder of the specific file.
A standard operating system dialog box is used to locate and select the files you
wish to use.
4 In the file manager utility, locate the folder you defined on the
File Setup
page.
5 Use the functionality provided by the operating system to copy the files to the
storage device.
6 Close the file manager utility.
7 To resume normal operation, select any other tab on the bottom bar.
