Show/hide Grid
Turns the display grid on or off.
In the up and down sounder views, the grid lines are a series of evenly spaced
horizontal lines in the window. In the net opening view, circular range rings
indicate the distance from the Sonar Head to the relevant target(s).
Each line in the sonar view is labelled to show the distance between the lines. The scale
is set automatically.
Tip
You can change the units of measurement in the
Preferences
dialog box.
Show/hide Up-Sounder window
Click this button to show or hide the up-sounder window.
The up-sounder view monitors the real-time status of the head-rope and the fish
escaping above the net.
You can change the physical size of the windows by clicking on the window
border, then dragging it to create a larger window. Note that the size of the other windows
will be reduced accordingly.
Show/hide Down-Sounder window
Click this button to show or hide the down-sounder window.
The down-sounder view monitors the real-time status of the foot-rope, the sea
bottom and the fish entering the net.
You can change the physical size of the windows by clicking on the window
border, then dragging it to create a larger window. Note that the size of the other windows
will be reduced accordingly.
Show/hide Output Messages window
Click this button to show or hide the Output Messages window.
The
Output Messages
window displays information, diagnostic, and error
messages. There are two tabs in this window: one for host messages and one
for head messages.
