Filters and show/hide buttons

A

Ping to Ping filter

Clicking this button will enable or disable the Ping to Ping filter. This filter reduces
noise and shows a more persistent net profile.

B

Noise Reduction filter

Clicking this button will enable or disable the Noise Reduction filter. This filter reduces
noise by boosting weak echoes and suppressing strong echoes.

C

Limit Strong Targets filter

Clicking this button will enable or disable the Limit Strong Targets filter. This filter
reduces noise by suppressing strong echoes, but does not change weak echoes.

D

TVG Correction filter

Clicking this button will enable or disable the TVG Correction filter. This filter reduces
TVG-amplified noise at further ranges where no targets appear.

E

Show/hide Grid

Turns the display grid on or off.

F

Show/hide Up-Sounder window

Click this button to show or hide the up-sounder window.

G

Show/hide Down-Sounder window

Click this button to show or hide the down-sounder window.

H

Show/hide Output Messages window
