Important

The FM90i is an advanced product. It is used with other advanced products. There is
important information that you need to know.

Intended use

The FM90i offers many advantages over conventional mechanically-scanning sonars
in most applications. However, it is not a complete replacement in some applications.
We recommend the FM90i mainly for surface, pelagic, and semi-pelagic trawling on soft
bottom. For bottom trawling and trawling on hard bottom we recommend the Simrad FS70.

When the FM90i is not used

When you are not fishing, and the FM90i units are on board, switch off the entire system.

If you require acoustic sensor monitoring

If you are using PI/PX catch-monitoring sensors, you must purchase the TV80 software.

If something breaks down

If you believe that something has broken down, contact your local dealer. A list of all our
dealers is provided on our website.
