Adding markers for external objects to the echo presentation
Position information from external objects such as buoys, fish aggregating devices and other
similar items can be imported into the CS90 system. The external objects are shown as
hexagonal markers in the echo presentation.
Prerequisites
A suitable receiver system must be connected to the Processor Unit.
Procedure
1
Set up the communication with the external device.
a
Open the
Setup
menu.

On the
Setup
menu, select
Installation
.
c
On the left side of the
Installation
dialog box, select
Sensor Installation
.
d
For
Type
, select
External Objects
to import information from relevant devices.
e
Select which port you want to import the sensor information on.
f
Type a custom name to identify the interface in other dialog boxes.
g
Select which datagram(s) you want to import from the sensor.
h
If relevant, specify a dedicated talker ID.

Display
menu.

to open the menu.
