3.

Move the machine to position the plug (3) on the horizontal
axle.

4.

Fill with the prescribed oil until reaching the lower edge of
the hole.

5.

Fit the plug (3), perform a few manoeuvres and with the
machine at standstill check the level again.

METHOD FOR ADJUSTING THE PARKING BRAKE

Ask your Komatsu distributor for the adjusting.

METHOD FOR CHECKING OIL LEVEL IN PTO GEAR CASE, ADDING OIL

WARNING

Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot and may cause burn injury.
Consequently, wait until they have cooled down before starting the work.

1.

Swing the turret so that drain plug (P) is in the middle of the wheels.

2.

Set the lock lever to LOCK position (L).

3.

Stop the engine.

4.

Remove the undercover (1) at the bottom of the machine.

5.

Remove the oil level check plug (G) and check the oil lev-
el.
If the oil level is close to the lower edge of the plug hole,
the oil level is appropriate.
