2) Turn the starting switch to ON position (B).
3) Set the lock lever to FREE position (F).
4) Operate the work equipment control levers and attach-
ment control switches in full stroke to the front, rear,
right and left.
Releasing the internal pressure in the hydraulic circuit is completed.

After completion of releasing internal pressure in the hy-
draulic circuit, set the lock lever to LOCK position (L).
8.
Turn the starting switch to OFF position (A).
METHOD FOR CHECKING AND REPLACING FUEL SYSTEM AND COOLING
SYSTEM HOSES
Regularly inspect the hoses used for fuel line, coolant line or breather hoses. If they are cracked or degraded
replace them.
Replacement of the hoses should be done either 2000 hours of operation or after 2 years, whichever comes
first. Ask your Komatsu distributor to perform this work.
METHOD FOR CHECKING ALTERNATOR AND STARTING MOTOR
The brushes may be worn or the bearing may have run out of grease, contact your Komatsu distributor for in-
spection and repairs.
If the engine is started frequently, have this inspection performed every 1000 hours.
