Stop the engine and open the drain valves (6), (7), and (8)
to drain the water.

After draining the water, clean with detergent liquid.
For draining the water, follow the instructions of the clean-
ing agent to be used.
9.
Close the drain valves (6), (7), and (8).
10. Install the covers (3), (4), and (5).
11. Fill with the Non-Amine Engine Coolant through the water
filler port up to the mouth of the port. (Specified capacity of
coolant: 76 ℓ)
For the coolant density, see “coolant density table”.
12. To remove the air from the coolant, run the engine at low idle for 5 minutes, then raise the coolant tempera-
ture to 90 °C or higher, and continue to run the engine for approximately 10 minutes.
(At this time, keep the radiator cap (2) removed.)
13. Open the engine hood, drain the coolant from reservoir
tank (9), clean the inside of the reservoir tank, then fill with
Non-Amine Engine Coolant to the middle between FULL
and LOW marks.
NOTICE
If the reservoir tank is extremely dirty and it is difficult
to clean, replace it with a new one.
14. Stop the engine, wait for approximately 3 minutes, then
add Non-Amine Engine Coolant up to the bottom of the
water filler port, and tighten the radiator cap (2).
NOTICE
After changing the coolant, as time passes, the coolant level of reservoir tank may drop largely.
Operation with low coolant level may cause damage of EGR cooler in the worst case, and it may
lead to serious failure such as seizure inside the engine.
Especially before starting the engine at the next day of the coolant change, be sure to perform
“METHOD FOR CHECKING COOLANT LEVEL, ADDING COOLANT”.

BOLTS
NOTICE
If the machine is used with track shoe bolts loose, they will break. If any looseness of the shoe bolt is
found, retighten it.
