CAUTION

The machine is equipped with a warning system that keeps the pressure in the hydraulic coupling system
under control.



If the buzzer of the monitor sounds, solve the problem before proceeding with the work.



In particular, check that there are no leaks in the system. In case of doubts, contact the Komatsu
distributor.

To unlock the bucket or accessory

1.

If the bucket or accessory is hydraulically connected to the machine, before operating, disconnect the
hydraulic connections.

WARNING

The pressure in the system can cause injuries. For more details, see "ACCESSORIES REMOVAL AND
INSTALLATION (6-10)".

2.

Rest the accessory on ground, in a safe position so in such a way that, after being released, it cannot rotate or
slide.

3.

Press the switch (1).

NOTICE
The switch has a safety mechanism which prevents
accidental activation. Slide the stop near itself and then
press the switch. The switch light turns on and the buzzer
beeps.

REMARK

For functioning, also the button (2) should be pressed.

A: In this position, the quick coupling is deactivated
(bucket/accessory LOCK).

q

B: In this position, the quick coupling is ready to be
activated (bucket/accessory UNLOCK).

4.

With the switch (1) in 'B' position, press and hold button (2)
of the left lever to activate the quick coupling.

5.

According to the type of quick coupling, one of the machine
hydraulic functions can be activated (bucket, boom, arm or
rotation) to increase the hydraulic system pressure.

6.

The quick coupling unlocks the accessory/bucket.
