If the lock lever automatic lock function is abnormal, when the
lock  lever  is  canceled  normally  under  the  condition  that  the
work  equipment  control  lever  or  travel  lever  is  in  neutral  posi-
tion,  this  function  is  actuated  by  mistake  and  the  machine  or
the  work  equipment  may  not  move.  The  machine  or  the  work
equipment can be operated temporarily by setting the lock lev-
er automatic lock cancel switch to the cancel position (a).

(a) Cancel

When abnormal (switch is set to upper position)

(b) Normal

When normal (switch is set to lower position)

• When the lock lever automatic lock cancel switch is set to

cancel position (a), the lock lever automatic lock cancel pi-
lot lamp lights up. At the same time, the mode is displayed
in the center of the machine monitor display, and after 2
seconds, the screen returns to the standard screen.

• After moving the machine or work equipment temporarily

by canceling this switch, stop the engine, return the switch
to the normal position (b), and then ask your Komatsu dis-
tributor for repair.

HYBRID SYSTEM STOP SWITCH

NOTICE

• The hybrid system stop switch is used to stop the hybrid system temporarily when a problem oc-

curs in the machine. Do not use it except in emergencies.
If any problem occurs, ask your Komatsu distributor for the inspection and maintenance immediate-
ly.

• If this switch is turned to ON position (system stop position) by mistake when the machine is nor-

mally operated,, the hybrid system stop caution lamp lights up on the machine monitor.
Once the hybrid system is stopped, the hybrid system maintains a stop state until the starting
switch is turned to OFF position.

(a) ON position: Hybrid system is stopped (switch is set up)
Stops the operation command of motor-generator, swing motor,
and inverter. Operates only the engine and hydraulic system.
Work equipment and travel operations are possible even when
the hybrid system is stopped.
(b) OFF position: Normal (switch is set down)
