METHOD FOR CHANGING OIL IN FINAL DRIVE CASE

WARNING
• Immediately after operation is stopped, the parts and oil are still very hot and may cause burn in-
jury. Accordingly, wait until they have cooled down before starting the work.
• If there is remaining pressure inside the case, the oil or plug may jump out. Loosen the plug slowly
to release the pressure, and then remove it.
• Refill capacity (each of right and left): 31 ℓ

Stop the machine so that drain plug (1) is directly at the
bottom.
2.
Place containers under drain plugs (1) and (4) to receive
the drained oil.
3.
Remove oil level plug (2) and oil filler plug (3), remove
drain plugs (1) and (4), and drain the oil.
4.
After draining the oil, install drain plugs (1) and (4).
Tighten the drain plugs securely.
5.
Add oil through the hole of oil filler plug (3).
6.
Add oil until it flows out of the hole of oil level plug (2).
7.
Install oil level plug (2) and oil filler plug (3).
Securely tighten oil level plug (2) and oil filler plug (3).

WARNING
The undercover is a heavy part. Do not open or close the
cover just under it. When removing bolts (2), stand at the
rear of just under the cover so that you can escape at any
time.
