6.3

Battery testing

A battery test can be initiated from the module control panel and takes approximately 3 minutes to complete. The test

procedure can be carried out irrespective of the operating mode (‘on inverter’ or ‘on bypass’) and whether or not the load

is connected, should be performed only if there are no existing alarm conditions and the battery is initially fully charged.

WARNING: 

Batteries contain dangerous substances that will harm if discarded without out due care. Please

ensure that any faulty batteries are discarded in accordance with local and national codes of practice for the

disposal of hazardous waste.
