KALUG50SCLB
Quick Start Guide
To ensure proper operation and to maintain the lifespan and accuracy of the scale,
please read this manual carefully before use.
Product & Usage
Measure and weigh your bags before you leave for the airport to avoid any overweight
bags or check-in issues at the airport. This handy scale weighs bags up to 50kgs,
helping you comply with airline regulations. The digital readout will lock so you can
easily read your bag's weight.
Additionally, a RED warning light will illuminate if the weight of the bag is greater that
20kgs (50lbs). High precision strain gauge sensors ensure complete accuracy.
You can measure your carry-on luggage in inches, centimetres or millimetres.
Uses 2 x AAA batteries.
Battery Installation
Open the battery cover at the back of the scale, then put the two AAA batteries into
the battery compartment, ensuring that the battery polarities match up to the
markings.
Power On
Please hold the scale in a horizontal position to begin weighing.
Press the POWER button to power the unit on. After two
seconds, the 0.00 will display, indicating that the scale is ready
for use.
Gross Weight
To weigh the suitcases and contents
combined, snap the nylon strap around the
handle of the suitcase and lift. The weight
will be displayed.
Tare Function
By using the TARE function, you will have the ability
to first weigh the luggage without the contents
(weight will be stored in memory). You can then
continue to weigh your added personal belongings. To
begin, snap the nylon strap around the handle of the
empty suitcase.
Lift the unit, then press the TARE button. The word
TARE will be displayed on the side of the screen,
along with the weight. Then you can load your
suitcases with your belongings and then weigh it
again.
The scale will then display the weight of the
contents only. When you place the suitcase
down, the combined weight will then be
displayed.
