Chapter 9 Maintenance

9.1 Periodic inspection and cleaning

To prolong the equipment life, the following maintenance should be performed on a

routine basis. Also, from time to time, check plug connections and cables.

9.1.1 Monthly check

If the display screen is dirty, clean the screen with a soft cloth damped with anti-static

agent or pure water. Do not use a dry cloth as it causes static build up, which

accumulates dust.

Never use solvent such as thinner, alcohol, etc to wipe the surface of the acrylic plate in

front of the display. It may damage the transparency of the plate, sacrificing the picture

clarity.
